Can’t believe it’s been so long since I posted anything up here.  Life is just so busy, and it seems the more time you have – the less you get done?!

Have been getting back into painting, and getting more into my photography – will post some up here soon, I promise.

The boys have both gotten into private schools for September, in the Monmouthshire area, so our plans for Cornwall are now on hold – looking in Ross/Monmouth area instead. (Looks like i’ll be 50 by the time I get to learn to surf at this rate! Thats not too old right?)

Am still hopelesslely in love, and crazy about my boys too.  Looking forward to a great summer in Europe again, and enjoying life, those snippets of sunlit evenings, Pimms and lemonade, lying on my back watching the swallows . . .

Update

Off on holiday on tuesday till the end of the month – staying in France – stopping off in Paris for a few days too – so looking forward to showing the boys around.

This weekwe have gotten 2 baby rabbits that are about 6 weeks old now, have been house hunting in Cornwall, and John has finished adding seats to the canoe.

Madly saving money – and working like crazy to get all the websites done – think i’ll call myself “cabin fever designs” when I start in september again.

Have put some photos on

See you all in September!

Hmm - this one?

New Computer arrived today – im in a happy place – Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 (2.66GHz, 1333MHz, 12MB, 4GB 800MHz memory, 500GB Serial ATA non Raid (7200 Rpm)
Hmm have no idea what that all means – but its fast and shiny

Well, trying to relax with a good film, and at midnight heard an awful crashing noise in the street. Ran out to see what it was, and “Gwynyth across the road” (as we like to call her) – was shouting, banging her fists against the door……………from the inside – shouting for someone to go away. Hmm, anyway – far from finally having lost her marbles, it turned out that the wild boar from the forest had smashed her gate down and was trampling through her garden.

It soon ran past me – and into the street. But it hadn’t just smashed the gate down, it had carefully lifted it off it’s hinges! Pretty clever for a pig……….

Come to think of it we were thinking of having a hog roast this summer……..

Didn’t have chance to take a picture of it tonight – so here’s a picture of it from last week, and a strawberry gateaux I made….random.

Ergh…was up till 3 am this morning making cheese! How ridiculous is that? Still, now i’m enjoying some with some some delicious compote we made from Glen and Kishes’ amazing rhubarb.

Anyway, have a few projects I am working on for the next few weeks: Miles Laughton, a local cabinet maker, Ernest Heal and Sons funeral home and the building company, plus an associated eco house site as well. Plenty to keep me busy anyway……

It just dawned on me whilst writing that….is anyone reading this? hmmmmmmmm

yummm

Well, now I suppose I have to be witty and interesting, but to be honest, i’m a little tired. At least I can see this thing works. Night
